grounded

last night, on the corner of trolley station, i broke down in a (nearly) quarter life crisis kind of way. i sobbed to my mom about my future and life. she listened as i sputtered the words out and told me it would all work out.

and this morning, in retrospect, i have to say that firstly, a good cry is sometimes all a girl needs. And secondly, i love love love my mother dear, who is always on the other end of the phone and roommates on the other side of the door, who remind me that i'm not the only twenty-four-year-old who is sometimes discombobulated by the spinning wheels of the everyday.
